Nicole Robinson is the author of a chapbook of poems, The Slop of Giving In, The Melt of Letting Go (2008). She holds a MFA in poetry from Ashland University, and her recent poems appear in CALYX, Great River Review, The Pittsburgh Poetry Review, and elsewhere. She was awarded a 2016 Individual Excellence Award from the Ohio Arts Council for her poetry.
Robinson has over ten years experience teaching creative writing throughout the community, and is the former assistant director of the Wick Poetry Center at Kent State University where she also taught.
Currently, she is a writer in residence at Akron Children's Hospital where she leads creative writing workshops for patients, families, and staff under the auspices of the Emily Cooper Welty Expressive Therapy Center
